    Still Alive?

Hope he forge didn't blow up on ya, Ray. Has the anvil been ringing in the off beat forge and you're just holding out on us with something awesome?

Peter, Between losing interest and my physical body's aches and pains I have been working on this from time to time.

Maybe the nicest one in a long time. Did another hand rub on the hawk head yesterday. I'm going to start working on the haft today just for a break.

Yeah man, that's totally beautiful. Looks a lot like my mini. I love the temper line. Looking forward to what you do with the shaft and seeing the spike hand sanded too. Get crackin!

Pretty much have the hawk done now. Just a little more finish to do on it. I had a horrible time tying the two Turks head knots even with some of the tools on the web. The first one I did the first time, the second one a time laps of not quite 2 weeks. You'll notice I antiqued the head. For some reason I just don't care for the shinny bright look for tomahawks.

Wow! Now that is a tomahawk. I like the wrap! And you're right on the shiny finish. Antiqued looks waaaaaay classier. Any chance of getting a close up of the turks head knots? Those always fascinate me...
