The Sasquatch Bowie {Sheath added}

This one just screamed brute when I drew it up, so I nicknamed it the "Sasquatch" bowie.
My original plan was to use some nice Ironwood on it, but I couldn't find any I liked, so I went with some old dry Ebony from mark at Burls source.
It has some really nice subtle figure that really pops with the 2500 grit finish. The handle is quite polished, even though it looks a bit flat in the picture.
The Blade is some of Ado's 1075, that I clay coated and polished for a very active hamon.
Oal is 13 3/4" with about an 8" blade.
Here are a few Wip pics that I snapped as I was making it. finished pics to follow.

It is the top one in this pic

Here it is hardened, hand rubbed to 1000 grit and my makers mark etched.

This is where the magic really happens

The handle glued on and roughed out.

The handle is finished at this point, so I mummify it so its protected when go to sharpen the blade.

Thanks guys!!
I decided to try something new (for me) on the sheath for this one. I went with a Pappy' Long style baldric sheath system. This is my first try doing any kind of harness or strap work. It is all hand stitched and I am pretty pleased with how it came out. I carries like dream, and is very comfortable. Here are some pics, let me know what you think.

Great looking Bowie Ben!
I don't know how I never saw this before today.
I like the copper pins with the ebony.
Will you be bringing it to Eugene so we can fondle it some?
