Hello
sorry for the delay, i received the bolster back yesterday and after some cleaning and milling i'm pleased with the fitting.
i'm putting this project on hold for a week to finish a batch of blades to sand to HT, i'll continue working on it after i sand them.

I love the pattern and work so far but have a question, what is the bolster made of that it had to be cast?

oh sorry i forgot to explain, it's sterling silver, i could have just made it out of a silver bar, but it's more work andand there is much more waste of matirial, also it was a good opportunity to try working with wax.

and we are back...

the handle is stabilized 5460 year old bog oak from burl source, thanks Mark.

Lots a nice lines in your knife. I like the way the handle shape mimics the blade and the nickel in the blade looks like lightning shooting out of the silver (cloud) bolster which is a very classy element that centers the knife.
