    Finished Tanto

_MG_2183_2.jpg Here is the finished product Hira Zukuri, blade length 8 1/4" OAL 13 3/4",
Sterling Silver Habaki,Fuchi,Kashira and Menuki. Wrought Iron Tsuba. Silk over Same. Not the best photo I've taken! Its not as dark in real life. What do you think? And thanks again for the help with the Mekugi.

I am impressed. Did you do the fittings, too? Look nice, and the saya (or however you describe the wooden scabbard).

    very nice work.

Thanks for the great comments Murph , Kevin , Bubba. The silver fittings are copies, I did a bit of texture work with burrs to give em a bit of a lift, apart from that its alll my own work. Need more practice on the binding to get the diamonds right.
    Thanks again guys.
