I begin by applying Dykem on the flats & edge.

I then use spray adhesive to stick my CAD drawing to the blade on one side.
Now I have guide lines to carve from.

Now the carving begins.I start with a foredom flexshaft w/ 1/2" diameter cross cut carbide bur to rough cut my bevel lines.

I cut my depth by eye,I continue to refine my line boundries.

Once my boundry lines are at the depth I need,I remove alot of material within my established lines.

Here You can see the lines being defined.

Now the roughing in the bevel is complete.

Stay tuned,I will show the progression to mounted stones to expanded drums.

    Rick,
That is just Totally AWESOME ! I was assuming that your blades were the result of CNC programming skills but this just bumps it from awesome to totally insane ! Thanks for doing a WIP on your process of carving it is appreciated.
