a friend just gave me a sherline mill. and lathe. will these be good enough to cut guard slots and handle holes in the blades. i only ask because these are very small. compared to his mill these look tiny. here are a few pics i got off of there web site.
man i really feel for you.. having to live in all that snow. i don't miss that at all. did my fair share of snow removal while i lived in colorado for a while. after a few heavy snowfalls i moved back to the desert where i belong..
on mine i used 1/4 inch steel on the main body and uprights. as for the tool arm yes use the correct size. or you can use flat bar and make a squar tube that fits even tighter.. search the forums here and other palces and you will find a lot of variants to the plans
