Unfortunately Levine's pages on state and federal laws is rather out of date. Here's some links that have or will link to better, more current info:

You might also try googling state knife laws and variations on it like Virginia weapons laws, etc

I saw the reference to gravity knives being included in the legislation but how do they usually treat Lev-R-Lok or similar?
