How are you all accomplishing those sweet fullered guards? are you all making a super small fullering tool of some sort?

I have not tried it but have seen guys doing it with a thin cutoff wheel and arbor spinning in the drill press, with the guard resting on the drill table. Set the height where you want it and drag the guard along the edge of the wheel. The guard may tend to get snagged by the wheel and thrown from what I have gathered so you want to make sure that you use the side of the wheel that will throw it away from you rather than directly towards you.

yeah, that seems super dangerous :) i'm hoping to forge most of the guard to shape without the use of other power tools, but i failed to mention that.

or just use a triangle file... and cut a thin groove in the center of the guard.... then follow that channel with a chain saw file..

no power tools necessary... ... just a vice and files
