I just received an email newsletter from the ABS....and wanted to get this information out as widely as possible. Following is copy/paste content from the newsletter concerning this year's JS and MS testing:
Judging for Master Smith and Journeyman Smith Ratings
ABS bladesmiths who plan to be juried for the MS or JS rating in Atlanta on June 4, 2010 need to contact our webmaster at least 10 days prior (May 25th) to let him know that you will be presenting your knives. Dan needs to check the ABS membership records in advance to verify your ABS join date, school attendance date if applicable, and dues payment record. He will then prepare and certify a list of eligible candidates for the Judging panels. Contact Dan at 719-539-1033 or abswebmaster@americanbladesmith.com and good luck to all candidates.
