I finished up the slip-joint last night and here are some quick pics. The blade is 2-5/8in long made of Al May Mosaic damascus. The bolsters are my own Radial pattern mosaic damascus. The scales are mammoth ivory. The titanium liners have been anodized blue and there is a little decorative filework in the center of the spring. Overall length is 5-7/8. The walk and talk is great with a half stop. The knife is screw together construction so any adjustments like spring pull can be easily adjusted.

Nice one Chuck. The pattern in the blade is very cool and proportionate in size. Very cool.

You know, I never used to like slip joints, but in the last couple of years I'm finding them interesting. Must be getting mellow now that I'm past 50!

Chuck, your knife more than many is one I like. The fat clip point blade you ground is a nice combination with that steel as it shows the pattern off well. Your choice of damascus was a good one. The ivory was a good choice as well. Looks like you fitted, ground and finished everything quite well. This would make a heck of a pocket knife!
