Here's the first finished mill job from the first run. Of course, they will look a little different after HT and tumbling.

Pics from Nathan the Machinist.

Thanks.
It's 4 pounds... great hogging hammer for the guys that don't have a power hammer.

Tai, Do you think any of the new hammer's will show up at your place besides the proto that you already have? I'm looking forward to trying it!

Ray, see if you can sneak one back with you without Tai catching you. That way I can try it out too! Looks good Tai!

BDK, I'll have to talk to Nathan about that. The hammers come to me hardened and tempered, so I couldn't stamp it myself. I'm sure there would be a small charge for Nathan to engrave it pre HT.

If anyone is interested in getting one of these hammers the best thing to do is shoot me an email and get on the waiting list.
email: taigoo@msn.com

I'll also be putting an ad on my website as soon as I have some available.
Website: taigooknives.com

I should have a dozen by the end of this month and a dozen more coming ASAP. I have no idea how long they will last though.

Please email me for price quotes.

I checked with Nathan and we can offer them personalized with initials or full name. There will be a small charge for that, and the personalized hammers will have to be paid for in advance.

I'm not sure about this day and age but having the owners name on an item use to lowers resale value.

I am looking forward to trying this hammer out. A week from today I'll be in sunny, green, and lush Tucson, Arizona!

Can't wait Ray!

I forgot to mention on this thread that they are from 4150, temper targeted for a Rockwell 53.

Nathan did a great job with the machining and heat treating. Thanks Nathan!

Here’s what a bag of them looks like.

Ray, yes it is a new batch of hammers. It's just they way they came out after heat treating and tumbling this time. The only thing I did was hand sand the faces a little, which I didn’t have time for on the first batch. Those came one day before the hammerjamin.
