What did you guys do today?

God I love this woman, this was her idea:

17 years of marriage, has it's perks. Forget the chocolate, she said, "Let's go shoot, I feel like blasting something..."

I tried to get her to like the Kel-Tec, but it bit her in the first clip, and that was the end of that... She eventually settled on this one:

Colt 1908 .380, a little pricey, but she's worth it :bud:

Eli, Glad to see you weren't the target. Can Mary actually hit anything with the pistol?

John, that looks like a lot of fun! But it looks eerily like a scene from a CSI TV show , lol. How much did you spend in ammo at the match?

Ray, Mary is quite good. She can't hit a freckle, but she could sure hit a chest every time. She didn't think she would like it much, but the very first time we went she called it "strangely gratifying". :D

Eli, After I asked my question it dawned on me that Mary grew up in a military family and then thought shooting could have been old hat to her. I got my first 22 rifle when I was 7 years old after dad had picked up 3 older rifles for 30 bucks. There wasn't anything I couldn't hit with it. Now a pistol was another story. I'm sure I could hit a barn door but not any smaller. :D

John, That's a lot of fire power! A pink AR 15? Was it converted to also fire 45's? A couple years after I got back from Nam I got a chance to fire a grease gun. When a weapon doesn't come with sights what's that tell you? :bud:

Yup , a pink AR , sun devil upper & lowers. The rifle is accurate as heck too. Tony built it for his wife , and she can shoot too , revolver , semi-auto , shotgun , belt fed , subgun , you name it. Caliber on pinkie is .223. :)
