Frozen Waterfall

It's been so unusually cold here that for the first time the waterfall in my garden pond is iced over. The water is still flowing under the ice. Each morning I pour boiling water near the stream to keep an open spot to let the gasses out.

I hear you, I have had to keep adding water to my pond because it is all ice, about 3 inches worth. The heck of it is its finally starting to melt and the water is running over. The up north boys are probally laughing at this.
