I was fortunate enough to get these beauties a few days ago and got around to taking a few pics this morning. Needless to say I'm really liking this pair. These are two of the beefiest, overbuilt and yet elegant folders I've had the pleasure of handling. The Super FM-1 has a 4.5" Stellite blade and is super scary sharp! I can only imagine the cutting potential of that beast would be awesome. The Rockeye has the same fat liners and exceptional lockup as the FM-1. Both are killer additions to my collection..2thumbs Thanks Les!

Thank you, sir! :)

Glad you like them, can you see the subtle hints of gold in the Rockeye's CF? :)

I like how the sun in your pics really makes the CF pop! :D

Beautiful knives and great scores!!

Les, is the gold hint due to copper wire in the CF? I read where some of the CF used for one of the new fighters has copper in the CF to help protect from lightning strikes.

Mark,

No, that is a totally different kinda stuff... This stuff basicaly has bronze colored resin in the balck CF matriz that gives just little gold / bronze hints here and there. It'd look great with mokume I think ;)
