This Damascus was made by Norm Schenk in Idaho. His work is incredible and his service is second to none.

Hello Steve, what is the handle thickness at mid-point? Looks like core ivory that aged perfectly and matches well with the rest of your knife. Has just the right amount of occlusions to blend everything together. Cant get over the thinkness of your scales. The next owner wont be able to put it down for a long time. Definitely a keeper. Now, I wish I hadnt already overloaded myself before joining Knife Dogs. Darn!

The scales were 5/16 originally and I tried to maintain that but tapered the ends for feel and the elder I had in that color was a little thin. The thickness of the ivory allowed me to add the finger grooves. This knife has great heft and feel. I would like to sell it before Christmas and would listen to offers. Thanks for looking.

I would love to sell this knife and stock up on parts for the new year so I'm reducing the price to $375.00 or offer and would be willing to trade for just about anything knife related. Etcher, 1 x 42 grinder, engraving service for a future project, blade stock or blades, just ask.
Would it be possible to see a picture of this fine knife sheathed?
