I'm always being asked about tongs. Up until I found these: http://shop.ozarkschool.com/product.sc?productId=47&categoryId=12 holding onto a knife tang was always a problem. These tongs are the best I have found. Actually these are a little better because of the Z configuration. Mine are just straight and I don't think they make them like anymore. There also pretty light weight and that's a plus as far as I'm concerned.

They resemble tomz tongs a lot. I love mine have 3 sets for different sizes of bar stock. They hold better than most others and you can hold a longer piece with them

Good choice! They look like they should work fine. If you get them and happen to be in the neighborhood I'd like to see them.
