Scott Jones created a tutorial a few years back that was the ultimate in cheapskate knife making. If funds are tight and you want to make a knife, you need to have a look. If funds aren't tight, you still need to have a look. The file is in .pdf format and it is nearly 3megs.

You might just want to save it.

I think just about everyone that makes this knife to completion turns into a knifemaker and that is really cool. (they also learn to appreciate the belt grinder after all that filing):D

Awesome post!

Anyone else here have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome? If so, how do you work around it with all of the gripping and repetitive motion? (G! G rating! G!)
