Here's my newest model 16 that's wrapped in the purtiest Spalted Maple i ever laid eyes on. It just looked like a majestic mountain to me, as I split it and butterflied it to show its pattern on both sides.

Model XVI Camp Blade
Serial: 001
1/8" 440-C Stainless, heat-treated by ME to my ultimate satisfaction
Stabilized, Butterflied, Spalted Maple with black fiber liners.
SS pins
finger jimping
blade length: 5 1/2"
overall: 9 3/4"
weight: 6.4 ounces
comes complete with an American made leather loopback sheath that I wetformed to conform to the blade.

I'll take $200 for it in mo, cc, debit, pp, check, 'bout any form of payment other than livestock!

man, I am sitting here eating some homemade strawberry ice cream and I think the only things that could top it is the handle on that knife. Eddie that is real nice! Hope all is well with you and the missus!

Smitty! We are well! Beautiful day in SC and I'm not going in the shop today. Just piddlin' and readin' the paper, scopin' out the new forums.

The inspiration for this camp knife came from a customer in the UK that gave me a design similar to this, but much smaller for archaelogical digs. I just thought with the right spine and grind, and a little bigger, it would make a great all-around camp knife.

The handle material I got at The Blade in Atlanta.

Just wanted y'all to know that Bubba loved his blade and I'll be closing this out this weekend. I'll make a picture gallery like some of the others we've seen so that we can keep a record of what all we sold out of THE Dog.
