Thanks for the Welcome! Not sure how many almost swords I have left in me. I do hope a few more. I find myself doing more stock removal than I have in years mainly because of age. The hammering has taken its toll however I'm going to give a forging lesson to a young man and his dad that saw my work at a sportsman show at a near by church several years ago. Peter has come down with some sort of bug. He says he feels the need to bang on some hot steel. His dad seems to have an interest also.
Here's some pictures I posted in the knife gallery last night. All except for "Big Boy" are quite recent. I did finally get big boy epoxied which is a step in the right direction. I need to get to the shop so if you have any questions on the knives I'll answer them in a few hours. Thanks again for the welcome!

Welcome Ray! Glad to see you brought knives with ya. I like "Big Boy"! Not for the faint of heart sissies.

Its kinda roomy in these forums so lets get the word out ol Buddy.

This would be a good place to show us how to forge from stock to finished blade your way. Take your time so the carpel tunnel doesnt act up.

I just emailed several with a link to the new forum. Once I get Blade West out of the way I'll get serious. I spent most my day giving forging and grinding lessons. I'm pretty well worn out. I need to get the sheath made up for Big Boy tomorrow. I'm sure I'll feel like making some new knives after that.

Eli, Good to see you on board! Please check out the rest of the forum when you have a chance. Actually you gave me an idea for something I'll do in the future. Nice looking knife you got there. :D
