Here's a couple EDC's I just finished up. Both have blades that are 3 1/2" forged from my very own Big Hole damascus. Both have wrought iron fittings and stabilized curly koa handles. Overall the knives are around 7 1/2". Both have my two ply cowhide sheaths. These will most likely be my last two knives for the AKA Show weekend after next.

Dan, I may do a damascus blade once or twice a year. I never really got the bug for it. I prefer to just make knives but thought I'd use a little more of this damascus before I forget I have it.

Yeah, way to go Ray! Those are sweet. First time I've seen you use damascus, and it's nice to see. :) I've never been a crazy damascus patriot either, but these look particularly nice. I love the handles! Good luck at the show man. Can't wait to hear what you win this time... :D

I had time to finish off one more knife. I made it mainly because I already had the sheath made for another similar knife that I had rushed and it didn't turn out. I was able to salvage the guard from the one I screwed up. This one has a piece of stabilized pheasant wood. Its got a wood grain similar to pheasant feathers. One side is pretty nice and the other side is pretty plane looking. Its got a 4 1/4" W-5 blade and is 8 1/2" overall. The sheaths was the last one I made that I didn't do the tiki thing on.

Damn Ray, that is just clean as a whistle! How do you do that!? That is such a sweet little knife it begs to be owned. I wish I could afford your work, some of this recent stuff would be MINE! :D

Wow Ray!! Absolutley awesome - all three of them. And your sheaths are off the chart, too. Love those Tikis. Wish I could make the show this weekend but it's not looking good. I hope it is a great show for you.

Denny, I hope I have a good story to tell after the show. I still think it would still be nice if you just showed up.

Well Ray, it's one of those things of getting old, can't sleep straight through the night anymore! Had to take care of nature's call and then read for a while before I could go back to sleep.

Dave, Now I know what is going on. I've noticed several of your post that make me think your having sleep problems. Maybe its time to invest in a box of Depends and get a full nights sleep. :D

Not happening my big brother! No Depends for this man. I'd rather just get up and do my business and have a smoke and read a while before falling back to my comfortable sleep. I do sleep like a baby, except for that one interruption. :)

Good luck in Little Rock!
