Model-1 2G: 1095 (58-60) HRC, saber bevel, Parkerized, 10" OAL, 4.5" x 1.5" x 3/16" blade. Bead blast natural canvas micarta, stainless torx head bolts and flared tube.

Looks good man, that parkerizing is slick! Do you bead blast with the scales attached and mask the tang, or do you do them off the knife.

With bolts, a modular build and the ability to assemble and disassemble (repeatedly), the "order of work" is flexible. I can blast before or after - I don't tape anything. Sometimes I blast the tang and scales together and sometimes I blast them separately. You just have to be mindful that the steel and micarta erode away at different rates.

I really like this model. A great Field/utility knife with a Strong grind.
