I scored the final Bushcraft shortly after it was finished. It's one of my favorite knives, both for it's capability and for it's simplicity. It's one of those, "If I had to just choose one..."

That's the ONE right there - great job!! I can't think of anything I couldn't do with that one in the field.
How thick is the spacing material? Looks good with both the green and the tan. The jimping on the scales is always a nice touch. I can visualize one with your browned metal finish, dark brown scales on orange spacers.

Rob,
Thanks for taking a look. I normally use 1/4" spacers but I also use a 1/16" spacer with 3/16" scale material on occasion. As long as the fractions are easy to add and total 1/4 inch, I am good to go - lol. Your "visualized" Bushcraft sounds like a very nice combination. Again, thank you for taking the time to comment.
Semper Fidelis,
Jeff

Here is a knife that Jeff, the owner of Bush-Monkey Knives, sent to me with one message: "Break It!" I couldn't do it! Not for a lack of trying though. This is after he cleaned up his blade and my leather. ~ C. Necht

Wow! That is a great touch-up el Jefe. Looks brand new! For anybody on the fence about Bush-Monkey Knives, I beat the HELL out of this knife. It got thrown quite a bit off camera too. I used this small 1/8" blade as a step and I'm 230lbs. Didn't break! This 12.5* single bevel also held up to 30 minutes of cross batoning into Bois d'arc which is about the hardest wood in North America! Blade had no chipping and minimal rolling given the beating it sustained. Tip also did not break. I honestly didn't touch it up at any point in the testing. These are the best knives no one is talking about! Period. ~ C. Necht
