Good evening

I am getting ready to put on a belt conversion on my Delta surface grinder. What do you supply and what info do you need to get an estimate on what this would cost.

I have one of the old Delta's and would like to do the same. Let me know if you find out anything and I will do the same.

Thanks, Curtis

Ordered a drive wheel from Sunray Inc. These folks are great to work with . They seem to know what you want before you ask. Anyway ordered a 6" wheel ,alum hub, 1.25 hole, 3" counter bore on one side. should take about a month. $80.00 . I picked up some steel from the scrap yard, $13.00, will put that together with a couple of idlers that I have. Will try to post pics as I progress.

Here is my conversion... I replaced the stone wheel with a custom one from Bader, The rest of the parts were laying around my shop so my total cost was about $125. Plus $20 for the machine about 15 years ago.

30736 I had to switch the plate so that it did not interfere with the heigth adjustment wheel.
