Hello All,

I'm Chuck, and occassionally you may see Mike here. Mike owns the company, I take care of all Techie-related "stuff".
Woodlab specializes in premium stabilizing of Wood, bone, and a variety of other things. We also carry a variety of supplies unique to those of us who happen to love making sharp pointy things. :-)

We will be posting our products here, but can also stabilize your own wood and bone.

Here's a little about our process:
All stabilization is done In-House...

Using a series of chambers, your materials are impregnated with a proprietary blend of complex acrylic monomers using a combination of VACUUM & PRESSURE to ensure full penetration.

We make our own stabilizing blend - it is not a buy-out item. We have developed it with your needs in mind.

Our primary chemical is MMA (Methylmethacrylate)... the rest of the blend is proprietary. It adds improved thermal properties, flexibility & strength ideal for machining, turning & grinding, and a higher gloss finish than you are accustomed to.

We can stabilize Cocobolo, Black & Claro Walnut, Redwood Burl, Lignum Vitae, Many Tropicals & others too.

NOTE: To keep our costs down for you, your material will be returned with aluminum foil wrapped around each piece - it comes off easily.

Our Shipping Prices are as follows:
$6 for up to 4 blocks/bone sets via USPS FlatRate
$12 for up to 30 blocks/bone sets vias USPS Flatrate
$16 for up to 50 blocks or bone sets vis USPS Flatrate

Here's some pics of Lignum Vitae Burl and Honduran Rosewood Burl we just ran. The Blocks are going for $35/pc. If you wish to see any one of them in closer detail please email me and I will send you a more detailed photo.
