Guidance on a heat treating oven...

Greetings all,

You've all been so helpful answering my various and sundry questions...

Can you guys tell me what you think of this heat treating oven?

It would be used for hardening and also tempering probably... No "super steels".

If you have a better suggestion of something in the same price ballpark... please let me know!

The same manufacturer (Evenheat) makes ovens designed for knifemaking, I would look into those. Tracy at USA Knifemaker sells them.

sugar creek kilns tracy sells them i have 1 and love it and you cant beat the service you will get from tracy on anything, i even gave a small review think it was under heat treat forum just search sugar creek and theres lots of threads on them, good luck speedy
