View Full Version : Ivory handled bowie and sheath

Here's one I've been working on for a week or so. 9" W-2 blade, fossil walrus ivory handle, with an iron S guard and the rest of the fittings are out of wrought iron wagon wheel. 14" overall. I just got the sheath together yesterday but had run out of leather finish. Need to make a trip into town to get more.

That is absolutely fantastic! The ivory and the iron really compliment each other. That is just a great knife. Wow! :D

Ray, Really nice piece, Love the S guard. and agree with Peter, its a great looking knife.. All most forgot to mention your awesome leather work.. Im not sure what it is about your sheaths, but I like em!

Ray, that is another beautiful knife. I love the ivory, it's nice to see you using that; and like Peter said it really compliments the iron. That is something else. Thanks for sharing.

I think you ought to do s-guards on every knife Ray, I've never seen one of yours I didn't love! Fantastic piece.
