Question on belt grinder.

While I'm waiting on my firebricks to arrive, I think I'm gonna build a belt grinder. I think I may have a few to many projects going at one time oh well.:3: I was wondering which size belt was best 2 by 48 or 2 by 72? Thanks

hands down 2x72. There are many, many more times the belts available for a 2x72 than a 2x48 and they are more economical in the long run.
