Been working on and off with this knife over the last couple weeks. I actually got the sheath done first and then finished the knife so that worked out pretty good. This knife has a 8" W-2 blade, the guard is made from a small iron buggy wheel and the other fittings are wagon wheel wrought iron. Desert ironwood handle. 13" overall.

Awesome knife Ray! And that sheath! You're getting into those sheaths.

I think I'm in love with a knife. Love that blade!! The slight recurve is purely beautiful. Your combination of a new style blade and a new style sheath -- a Scandi sheath applied to a bowie -- makes this knife far different than most bowies. You pull off all these innovations so splendidly. And even though it is so different, it still retains all the genes of a Raymond Richard knife. Simply awesome. The rib down the front of the sheath is also stunning. And the hamon ... and the S guard ... and the ironwood handle ... and the pronounced iron buttcap. Wow! You have outdone yourself once again, Ray.
Hope you take this one to the Boise show and get it sold soon, so I am not so sorely tempted!
