Here are my latest.
The first one is made from 1095 with a blesbuck handle and brass hardware.
OL = 10"
Blade = 5"
The second is made from O-1 with a micarta handle and nickel silver hardware.
OL = 8.5"
Blade = =4 3/8'

the sheath is hand sewn.

Good or bad, please let me know what you think.

Thank you,

They look good to me.

I do have a suggestion (not criticism) on your sheaths. When I started doing leather, I was taught to attach the belt loop with a 'U'. It seems that stitching across the top of that connection is more prone to tearing the leather. I figured someone had already learned that lesson and I didn't have to.

Uncle Billy, how did you polish the Besbuck horn? I looks really good.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have never tried the U shaped stitch but I might try it on the next one.

For the horn, I sanded with 320 grit then 500 grit shop roll. Then I just buff it. It buffs to a shine real fast. The sanding stinks to all get out, but you have to get the dried bleached-out layer off.
