i wanted to ask about the exact effect/function of the tracking adjustment part

PS: i'm totally new to the field, no belt grinder experience at all

Hi, The tracking adjustment is a simple adjusting knob that allows you to adjust the belt so that it runs in the middle of the contact wheel or platen attachment. By turning the adjustment knob, you steer the belt to the left or right until it runs where you want it. It is a very important feature on belt grinders.
