This is a new model I designed, I was asked to make a knife for a old Army buddy by his children for Christmas. I was given a budget and told what ever you make he will love. We havnt seen each other in years bit have kept in touch and he is now a Pastor in Ohio hence his favorite bible verse on the spine. Anyway I sat down and designed this knife
with a lot of loveless influance and calling it my Scout model .Blade is O1 tool steel with a brass notched and pinned guard. Buffalo horn with brass pins and lanyard tube.

I made a stencil and electro etched it .

I to love how it feels,this set of scales was a dark brown,as you turn them in the light they change colors from brown to black to silver.

It's one piece, there is a notch in the tang that the guard fits into at the bottom and two brass pins are the peened into the guard through the tang.
