The Handle!! Beautiful material, I have never used this wood, The seller calls it red logwood. Its from South america and is very dense and naturally oily like cocobolo or ironwood. So it should be a perfect handle for a kitchen knife!

Thanks Mike. I have and will continue to refine different aspects of all the knifes I make. Im a Type A personality. So making a good kitchen knife is awesome, But Im on a quest.. Trying to figure out what makes the PERFECT kitchen knife. Im still a long ways from where I want to be. But every day, Im taking steps toward my goals. :)

God Bless YA!

Randy,
So you are on a Culinary Knife Quest also? I can relate!

Nice flow & finish in the design of blade & Handle. Very nice wood too!

Keep'em Coming!

Love the shape of the handle on this one Randy. I know a lot of kitchen guys preferthe wa, but the curves on the westerns, especially this one, are beautiful.
