semi-1911 grip knife

I had a customer contact me about making a knife reminiscent of his 1911 grips. We'd both seen the production knives made from 1911 grips, and both didn't really like them. I sketched out a few designs, and this is what we agreed upon. Steel is CM154, wood is cocobolo. I've screwed up plenty of knives, but this is the first one I've screwed together. It's glued as well. The sheath is my work also. Thanks for looking.

That's a great looking handle with that Cocobolo.
I think you did just fine on this one! Doesn't look screwed to me! :s11779:...

I miss working with Coco when I see a great handle like yours.
Last time I did I thought I was having a Heart attack or somethin?
I had been having watery eyes and a tight chest & itchy skin for some time I worked it and then one day it was a full Blast of all of those symptoms and I could barely get my breath!

No more rosewoods for this knife maker!

Looks pretty good to me! I like the design of the knife, and the wood grain is very nice. Very well done.
