Here's the last couple of knives I've made. These are going to a great client in California for a special occasion. Specifications are-
440C, Aldo Bruno sourced, plate quench and double tempered to 59 Rockwell.
304 stainless bolsters, double miter cut.
303 stainless Corby bolts.
Walnut Dymondwood laminate.
Tapered tang, 4 5/8" cutting edge, 10 1/8" overall.
9 ounce shoulder leather sheaths, horizontal carry.
Custom monogram etch into the blades...my logo and serial number on the other side of the blade flats.
They're identical aside from the monogram. The focal length of my camera is pretty short so it make the sizes look different.
These were a lot of fun. I'm pretty tickled at how they turned out.
