I made a knife a couple months ago ,one of my first stick tang knives, and I just didn't like how it turned out. Well I decided to fix it and it amazed me how just a simple thing like a guard and handle could drastically chang its apperance. Tell me what you think.

I like version 2 much better. That is an amazing difference isn't it?

I like the new handle much more as well, but the first handle looks like ok its just not in the right location for my eye.

Yep, like the 2nd version better. The blade shape flows right into the handle and that is some nice burl too. Well done!

Question for us newbies

OH ya after is very clean and simple which equals beautiful. Is there an actual hole in the tang for the handle>? Stick handles done right serve a purpose. Thanks for sharing. What made you go to this particular handle the second time round. (What wood is it?) and what was first used?

Thanks Kris
