For starters, This is what we have:
I have enough material here for two knives. I'm going to make two of them, right along side each other. One will be donated for auction for St. Jude Childrens hospital, and the other either carried by myself or reserved for the person it was designed for.

I'm new to working with titanium, and this knife has a ton of it. The whole entire frame lock, bolster, liner, and pocket clip are Ti. The blade is the only thing that is steel. This particular steel I'm using for these is called Elmax. It is supposed to be some really good stainless. The person that I designed this knife for wanted a Carpenter steel called CTS-XHP, but the stuff is really hard to find, especially in small quantities. I may pick some up later, but for now I'm going to use a steel I have on hand.
