I like your designs. You seem to like the old school and yet you are young. Keep it up!! Any steel with some carbon, maybe a little vanadium and some moly... Leaf springs are great stock to play with and the older ones are better IMO. I look forward to your next postings.

I started when I was 13, I'm 16 now. How well does the rebar one hold an edge? I have some rebar and want to try forging.

yea, the rebar one i got shaving sharp but havn't really got a chance to test it much, seems to hold an edge alright tho. the one from the saw blade is very good tho ;)

Here are my two latest knives. Both are laminated blades with mild steel and some old files for the cutting edges. Handles are brass, leather, and some unknown hardwood from some pallets from india on one and bone, leather and birchbark on the other. both sheaths are veg tanned leather dyed with some homemade vinegroon dye. Hope you like them.DSC_9936.jpg

Heres a few recent ones, first is an o1 and iron laminate puukko with bone and walnut handle. The small kitchen knife was a wedding present for a friend, it has a bicycle chain damascus san mai blade with an o1 core. The last one is forged from an old file with a wrought ion guard and walnut handle.
hope you like them.
