Art, when I look at your knives I want to sell my grinder and take up knitting. You do such fine work in steel and leather.

NO DON"T TAKE UP KNITTING !!!

Guess I'll have to quit showing my knives on here, Don't want any one to sell their grinder , Just say I'm going to make a better knife than Art, It's not that hard to make a knife better than me. I'm always trying to make a better knife, and I luck out once in a while.

Fantastic job on both knife and sheath Art; ?.. Does the cross snap serve as additional fastning,or for enhancement of the look of the handsome sheath. Happy New Year, sincerly, Ron.

The cross strap is what locks the knife in the sheath. It fits through a slot in the back of the sheath neer the belt loop. I don't like to make sheaths and this way I can make sheaths ahead when I'm in the mood.
