Stabilized Koa from J. Doyle
Stainless pins and tube

I screwed up on this one and forgot to finish out the front of the scales to the desired grit before I glued it up.
So I wasn't sure if I would just keep it or what so took the opportunity to try a J. Doyle inspired carved butt on this. I think it came out as pretty cool little detail.

That is super nice. The swedge is cool. It strikes me as a modern update to a Sharpfinger design, with a way better handle. I could see you selling these faster than you can make them. Great job on the blade finish, too.
 
Thanks guys, John I wish I could make them faster because your right. Ed it does fit nicely in the hand.
I wish I could have taken better pics outside like I usually do but it was a monsoon yesterday here the pics don't do the koa justice.
 
Beautiful job on this one Justin. I really like the Doyle flute on the butt. It really puts the finishing touch on it. Keep up the good work.
