Steel for this knives is AEB-L at 64-65 HRC, grind is full flat at the one side, and chisel grind at the other, handle is from dinobone, grenadill(African blackwood) and nickel silver. Blades are etch in ferric trichloride. Thanks for looking.

I like these also, Very nice.

Tell us about the dino bone please. Is it hard to get? Hard to work with? Is that the natural color?
I would sure like to try some.

Greg

Thank you. I buy dino bone from here:https://www.brisa.fi/portal/index.php?option=com_oscommerce&osMod=index&cPath=98_60 Its made from natural materials and acrylic resin, its easy to drill, sand and polish, but you have to worked very carefully, because if you apply to much pressure you can break it(but this is easy to fix, with adhesive). I cut it on a metal band saw with old bi-metal blade(I use old, because this material wear metal cutting tools pretty fast).
Here is another store with reconstructed stones http://stores.ebay.com/PremiumKnifeSupply/_i.html?rt=nc&_sid=17149286&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=4
