Hoss

I made this one for a friend in Oregon. He wanted something to throw in his pack that would do any task he would ask of it. He picked the handle material and let me pick the blade material. The blade is 5160 from leaf spring and the handle is elk antler with buffalo horn bolster and two red vulcanized fiber spacers. The guard and butt cap are wrought iron from an old wagon wheel. The blade is 7 1/2" from tip to guard and the total length is 13". I left the spine about 9/32 thick. This knife weighs a whopping 1.3 lbs, hence the name Hoss.

That looks great Wade and it looks like it can do any task your friend wants it to do.
