Hello,
I've been collecting custom knives (folders & fixed) for some time now and hope to learn how to make them, focusing on fixed blades. I have just started to research knifemaking equipment/tools/tutorials, and although I don't have any experience with the standard equipment, I'm looking forward to the learning curve. I'll be thrilled if I can learn how to stick a nice hunk of wood onto a hidden tang with a satisfactory level of fit 'n finish.

It's terrific to know this forum is home to so many talented members.

Welcome to the pack. Open a favorite beverage and start reading the Tutorials and WIP's where you would like to start. There are plenty here that can help when you have any questions.

George, I'm looking forward to putting together a modest shop, and my first task will be to fashion a handle for a hidden tang blade I've recently acquired. Thanks for the welcome!!:biggrin:
