Glue or no glue?

Do you guys glue the liners of a slipjoint to the handle material, or just pin it all together? If you glue, do you use superglue or epoxy?

I've got one I'm thinking I'd like to epoxy. Any reason I shouldn't?

Jason,
I don't make folders personally but epoxy and pins/fasteners are used on almost all knives I know of. There are a few with take apart set ups that don't.

One of the main reasons for epoxy is to seal out moisture from under the scales.
I also epoxy the liners as well for this reason.

I use the superglues for a fill in while sanding mostly.

If you have double bolsters on the slipjoint, the epoxy squeezes out and swells as it cures, twisting the handle.

The knife in question is a shadow pattern toothpick with giraffe bone. I figured it wouldn't hurt the bone to be glued to the stainless liners, in case it wanted to crack, etc. Put a thin layer of epoxy in there, seems to be working well so far. I still have a little bit of handle shaping to do, then the pin peening.
