Friction Folder for a Lady-friend

Recently finished a friction folder that is going to a very close friend. She wanted something tough, but girly enough that her guy-friends wouldn't try to take off with it...

Let me know what you think! :D

Flat ground and shaving sharp
1/8" thick 1095 from Aldo
Pink G10 from Boss
1/4" female chainring as pivot and I used 2 nuts from a lovelace style bolt for the standoffs.
Did my best to "mill" out a relief area on the inside of the scales, but left a good sized "washer" in place. I use the term 'mill' very loosely because i did it using a router bit in my drill press.

Very original creation RBT- if it weren't pink I'd probably say build me one! One thing though, are "lovelace" bolts just for girl knives? sorry couldn't resist...

Thank you sir! :)

This one is only pink because that was her ONLY design criteria for me. I'll do some more in my favorite green canvas micarta and whatever else I have laying around the shop soon.

(Btw, yeah... this friend looks lovely in lace... ;) )

Thanks Marvin and Doug....

I'm personally not a huge fan of the Opinel's or penny-knives... But that's just a personal preference...
