Finished The Simple Little B&T

Now I like that! Just the right embellishment on the sheath to kick it up a notch! However you got to brag a little!

The knife is from, ………….. steel!
The handle is, ………………….. wood! I am guessing Ironwood maybe??
Like the Mosaic pins, a close up on them says a lot to an admirer!!

Details make a buyer, buy!

Hell they probably don't understand the difference between. 1080 from 80CRV2 but, every time they show it to one of their buddies. The first thing out of their mouth after, "look at my custom knife, the steel is 1080 and the handle is desert ironwood and it really holds and edge"! Ain't it cool!!

Details man details!!

My bad C Craft, as with the majority of knives I make, the steel is 15n20.
Handle/scales are indeed DIW, and the pins are just plain G10.

Dan you mentioned re-purposing band saw blades. The ones you have, are they from a saw mill? I have a friend with a band saw type saw mill and I have access to his old blades.

Yes, big commercial mills, they are 6" wide (finished width after cutting the teeth off)and have been cut to 13" (approx.) long for economy of shipping in a flat rate box.
