Finished another...

I have several blades getting close to being ready for handles so I'll be finishing a few here in the next few days.

But here is one I finished this morning, Another piece of wood I bought from Jdale. I forgot what it was called.

I think stabilized Maple Burl?

Anyway here it is. I plan on making this my EDC. Having an EDC that I made, worn on my belt has sold a few knives for me the last few weeks :)

This one will be an upgrade I think. Pictures explain it.

Ahh, California Black Burl is what it was. Harvested 26 years ago from a 1600LB burl

Also I have this one nearly done, You may also recognize this wood. My first try at Damascus. I have feric Chloride on it's way but Vinegar worked Ok to bring out the Pattern.
Little more sanding on the handle.

Nice work!
If you like? You can fill in those small littles spots in the handle of No 1 by putting a drop of super glue and hand sanding until they fill. I do this at about 220 Grit, Then again with 600 or whatever your finish grit is.

Yep! Having a knife of your own on your belt sure helps sell them!
