dry bearing on an old craftsman 2x42

I purchased an old 2x42 a few weeks ago and ordered belts for it, long story short a friend who knows more about this than I do said it sounds like a dry bearing.
anyone have advise on how fix it or where to take it?

P.S. its one of the old 2x42's with 3 wheels and an 8" disk on the other side.

any help is much appreciated.

Is it in the motor or one of the wheels? If you have the model number, you might be able to find parts here.

EDIT: these are for the newer 2-wheel versions but might have some of the same wheels/bearings...
