I've been busy with other things for a while but finally got back to knife making.
I finished this one this morning for a friend who is donating it as a fundraiser for a small rural school basketball team.
My Phat Boy modle, locking liner. The knife is 4" closed with a 2 7/8" blade made from 1/8" stock.
Blade: Sandvik 14C28N blade steel,59 Rc,with a bead blasted finish.
Frame: titanium liners and bolster, stainless standoffs, pivot, stop pin and thumb stud.
Scales: carbon fiber
Weight: 3.3oz.

Calvin,
Really nice!!! Don't you just hate when "other things" get in the way of knife making.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.
Wade, the things that I'm referring to are all good things, working outdoors in the woods, hunting, family get togethers, some work for The Guild, etc.
I'm going to take some more photos of this knife today and show some of its peculiar features that can't be seen in this photo.

More photos here showing the 3/16" stand offs and how the 3/16" thumb stud overhangs the bolster when closed.
