Hey guys I posted this on the sheath forum but thought I'd post it over here too. So just a week prior to xmas a friend called wanting to know if I had any knives available for sale for her husband, I had a couple done but nothing "appropriate " for him at least in my mind so inspired by this knife by J Doyle http://knifedogs.com/showthread.php?14433-Raised-Clip-Hunter&highlight=raised+clip I dove into the project 4 partial days in the shop and a evening and a half for the sheath and this is what my buddy ended up with for Xmas. Blade is from a cut off piece of a leaf spring full tang with a slight taper , desert iron wood scales with brass corby bolts whole thing is almost 9 inches overall. Hope you all like it and thanks to Mr. Doyle for the inspiration.
