Great looking knife and I agree it shouldn't stay on the shelf long at all. I have often wondered how a buck feels being gutted and skinned, possibly, by his own antler. Wade

Thanks for the kind words guys! Wade, I never thought of that! It would be possible for sure. This was a mule deer shed that a friend brought me. We don't have mule deer here in southern Oklahoma. So I doubt it will happen to this deer. I didn't get a deer this year. Too picky I guess. I did get to guide a 14 year old boy to get his first deer. I think I was as excited as he was.
